Growing up, her family life was immersed in stories and storytelling. She holds a BFA in Music Dance Theatre. Nannette is a member of the Utah Storytelling Guild, Timp Tellers Chapter. She has presented workshops on storytelling from local to national venues.</p>
<p align="left">A coach of youth tellers, including her own children, she has inspired many students that have gone on to perform at storytelling festivals (such as Timpanogos, Zion, Vernal, and Snake River) as well as the National Youth Storytelling Hall of Fame and the National Storytelling Festival.</p>
